I'm inspired by the many talented artists and designers out there, but I especially admire the work of James Martin, David Carson, Allan Peters, George Hull, Brad Woodard, and Nick Molokovich.

I'm always pursuing new ways to strengthen my creative chops and test unique designs and ideas. If I'm not keeping my hands and mind busy with design, I'm delving into a sci-fi or fantasy series, learning how to cook something new, or finding time to be outside.

ABOUT ME
Graduating college with a degree in Construction Management doesn't seem like the logical path to becoming a graphic designer (because it isn't). But I kind of believe art and design are in my blood, because I was initially hired by a construction company to be a drafter and help where I could with design and marketing. The reason they picked me? They were impressed with the art portfolio I included with my resume.

Fast forward ten years and I've been working in design capacities for small and large companies in a variety of industries such as outdoor lifestyle, technology, social media, nonprofit, sporting goods and hunting apparel, healthcare, etc. I've helped define their brands and improve their marketing efforts through brand design, web design, and illustration among other things.
